Lay-by

Lay-by is a shopping agreement between you and Posh Spaces. It lets you choose product that you love, set it aside and pay for it over 3-6 months. There are no credit checks and no interest. We keep your selected items safe until you’ve paid the full amount, then we deliver your order to your door!

 How to Lay-by?

1. Please create a customer account on our online store and whatsapp/email us a copy of your ID/drivers license.

2. Add all the products you love to your cart.

3. Follow the prompts to checkout. Once you are at the checkout page, click on "Lay-by" option. Please note Lay-by's may only be done on orders from R4000. 

4. Please click ''complete order''. Your order will then be placed and we will receive it as a Lay-By order.

5. Please use our banking details to pay the 10% deposit into our account within 3 days. Should deposit not be received , your order will be automatically cancelled.

6. Once payment/proof of payment is confirmed , we will create a customer lay-by portfolio for you for the balance of payment due over the next 3-6 months including preferred billing dates.

7. Once all payments have been collected within the 3-6 months, your order status will be updated to complete and ready for delivery. It will be dispatched from our warehouse and our delivery partner will be in contact with you.

1. Q: What is lay-by?

 Lay-by is a shopping agreement between you and Posh Spaces PTY ltd. It    lets you choose product that you love, set it aside and pay for it over 3 -6   months. There are no credit checks and no interest. We keep your selected  items in our warehouse until you’ve paid the full amount, then it will be delivered  to your home!

2. Q: What do you need to apply for lay-by?

You must be 18 years or older. South African citizens need to send us an email or Whatsapp a copy of their ID book or ID card or driver’s license. Foreign Nationals will need to show their passport (sorry, no driver’s licenses!). You’ll also need to pay a minimum deposit of 10% of the full lay-by purchase price, the rest you can pay over 3-6 months.*R4000 minimum order value.

3. Q: How much do I pay each month for my lay-by?
   

 After you pay the 10% deposit the remaining balance will be split into 3 -6 equal payments which you will pay over 3-6 months. For example 3 month lay-by:
If your lay-by is R100, you’ll pay a 10% deposit of R10. This leaves R90 which will be
split into 3 equal payments of R30 each. For 3 months you will pay R30 a month.
At the end of 3 months you would have paid the Deposit of R10 + Month 1 (R30) +
Month 2 (R30) + Month 3 (R30) = R100

4. Q: Can I pay the lay-by off before 3-6 months?
Yes, as soon as the balance is paid in full, you will be able to take the items you selected home.

5. Q: What happens if I miss a payment?

After 14 days, our store reserves the right to cancel your lay-by. You’ll get an SMS/email letting you know it’s cancelled, and that your refund will be credited to your original method of payment. The products that we had set aside for you will be put back on our storefront as available inventory.

6. Q: What are the different ways I can pay my lay-by instalments?
You can pay with cash (bank deposit), debit and credit card.

7. Q: Can I pay for my lay-by at any time in the month?
Yes , however payment must be made within each month.

8. Q: If I cancel the lay-by do I forfeit any of the deposit?
Yes, R500 cancellation fee will be payable and the balance will be refunded to your original method of payment.

9. Q: How will I be refunded if I paid by debit or credit card?
The amount will be refunded to the card you used to make the original payment.
